Scarlett Johansson has said that she isn't compeltely at ease in the famous leather catsuit that has been attracting attention in Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

After a long publicity campaign and a stop at No1 at the UK Box Office, the movie finally gets its North American release today (April 4) - and ScarJo has opened up about that outfit - joking that she had to stick to a "kale-rich diet" in order to slip into it during days on-set.

Asked how she got into it, she laughed: "By sticking to a kale-rich diet and being nice and patient when I’m being dressed for the day in wardrobe!"

Quoted by the Daily Mail, she continued: "Actually, it’s by no means the only item in Natasha’s wardrobe. We see her in civvies, too - no fuss, no fancy anything - and I sure felt more relaxed in those scenes. I’m not sure I feel entirely comfortable in the suit, with this "sexiest woman" thing that goes on.

"Right now, it feels like  a label - and maybe when I get older it will go away and be replaced by something else. I understand that people want to keep the fantasy alive. I understand that people want to label you, or even put you on a pedestal."

The A-lister went on to say that she's excited to grow older and start playing meatier roles with less of an appearance-based expectation on them.

"It’s all part of a learning curve, getting used to that. But I do look forward to a time in my career when the parts I play don’t necessarily attract the kind of attention that the parts I play now do," she explained.

"Many actresses take on  their most challenging and interesting roles in their 30s and 40s - I’m looking forward to that time."

Johansson, reportedly pregnant, has also recently starred in Under The Skin, and is widely believed to be engaged to boyfriend Romain Dauriac.
